Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Larson.

Paul, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
About 10 years ago I retired from the corporate world after spending years working with a Silicon Valley technology company where most of my time was spent in India. Little did I know then that I would eventually be filming South Asian Indian Wedding. In 2010 my wife and I came out of retirement to work full-time filming weddings and that move has taken us all over the world. Our first wedding was filmed for a friend and for free. That adventure led to another wedding, which led to another, and then another… until we have reached the place in time today where we are filming as many as 50 weddings a year.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road we have taken has been fairly smooth. We have been able to grow our revenues in a consistent and predictable manner while sustaining that performance over an extended period of time. Of course, there are always competitors that keep us sharp and agile and with so much talent in this space, we really work hard to differentiate our deliverable’s from the competitions. It has always been important to reinvest in the company and build our production offerings with the very best equipment available

Additionally, we are always honing our skills to try and take our capabilities and productions to the next level so that our clients feel like they are getting the best available production in the industry today. Making on-going capital investments along with good ole sweet equity has given us the edge which has provided us with a consistent booking calendar that has us traveling all over the world.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with WalkOnWater Productions – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our company has filmed corporate videos, music videos, web videos, and weddings. Over time, we moved the company towards filming weddings as our primary core competency. At this stage in our company evolution, we have been focused on South Asian Indian Weddings which requires a knowledge of the Indian culture and the ebb and flows of their many different wedding ceremonies , Our clients wedding is the most important time of their lives, and it is not unusual for there to be more than 1000 guests at this amazing celebrations. which typically lasts for days.

We are proud of the films we have created over the years and the friends we have made in the Indian community. Apart from the many weddings, we have filmed in Atlanta, our business has taken us across the US, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Europe.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I like the most about Atlanta is how, vibrant, influential and progressive the city is. There is so much opportunity to find your place here and it is recognized around the world as an amazing city with a small town feel but hip and cosmopolitan. Truthfully, I don’t know if I have ever met anyone that did not like Atlanta… apart from the traffic of course.
